Remote control spectrum analyzer and ADC-DAC module |
|
Remote control of spectrum analyzers is a unique opportunity to interactively observe our spectrum analyzers, ADC modules and strain gauge stations in operation, as well as run various ZETLab programs, adjust the settings and save the results in picture form
In our office we have installed a video camera offering 24-hour streaming video of a shaker in operation with accelerometers, microphones and a spectrum analyzer connected to it. The signals from the spectrum analyzer are available for all the programs that can be run from the ZETLab panel.
At your request, we can connect any of our measuring devices, such as a strain gauge station or portable oscilloscope, to a remote computer.
To get started, click on this link. An authorization window will open:
(the Mozilla Firefox browser is not currently supported)
When you open the login page, a window may open informing you of an error in the security certificate. In this window you must click Continue to Website
In the resulting authorization window, enter the username - zetlab and the password - zetlab then click Login
When the ZETDEMO window appears, select the HTML option in the Remote Control part of the left panel. In the top of the window you will see a notification that the website is trying to install an add-on. When you click on the message, a menu appears in which you must select Install ActiveX Element
In the resulting window, click Run.
The Remote Control window will appear and a connection to the server will be made, which may take some time.
Once the authorization is over, you will see the main program window, which shows the desktop of the remote server.
In this example, the remote computer is running the following programs: Signal Generator, AC Voltmeter, Multichannel Oscilloscope and Narrow Spectrum, with an additional window called Spectrogram open. ZETLab panel is at the top of the remote computer’s desktop, and in the bottom left there is an image from a video camera in our office. In this way, you always know which equipment you are working with remotely. To run a program, select its name in one of the menus of the ZETLab panel. For example, accelerometer and microphone sensitivity can be set in the Editing Parameter Files program in the Service menu.
