Trying to explain the situation over the phone is usually a waste of time. The list can be sent via email, forum, fax, regular mail, or delivered in person.

We need the following information:

• Your name and how to contact you;
• Name and serial number of the product;
• What kind of computer (processor, memory, video) and operating system you are using;
• What version and configuration of ZETLab you are using and when it was last updated;
• Software settings: sampling frequency, number of channels, gain, in-phase, differential channels;
• External connection configuration: written description and sketch of the configuration, photo of the connected device or pencil sketch;
• Numbers of the plug pins, length of the connections, type of cable being used, shielded, twisted pair;
• What signal sources are being used, or what internal resistances they have;
• An assessment of the levels of signals applied to the terminals of the product, the nature of the signal being used (indicate the specific parameters of the signal, if known, either pulsed or sinusoidal, random or periodic, bandwidth);
• In what conditions the product is being operated (laboratory, production area);
• Describe how the computer is grounded, whether the signal sources are grounded, and, if so, how;
• Finally, describe the observed interference, interchannel passage or other observable adverse effect, including at least some quantitative characteristics or assessments! Screenshots are also helpful.
