Optional standalone recorder and flash drive

Optional standalone recorder and flash drive

The flash drive is used to record the temporary implementation of signals in standalone mode without a computer. At the beginning, the PC and the stand-alone recorder create scenarios of autonomous operation. In this program, you specify the parameters, number of recording channels and the algorithm of the beginning of the recording: at power-on, by the level of the signal, and by the signal front. To operate in standalone mode, you must use a 5V battery or 220V→5V power adapter.

Optional standalone recorder and flash drive

Note: only one of the options may be connected to the ZET 210 ADC/DAC module standalone recorder, Bluetooth connection or digital I/O. To the ZET 220 and ZET 230 ADC/DAC modules you can connect the options of standalone recorder (requires a digital port), as well as a Wi-Fi wireless link to your PC.

When using the ZET 210, ZET 220 and ZET 230 modules in autonomous recording mode, you have the following options:

  • Write once mode. In standalone mode according to a given scenario, the device writes the digitized temporary realizations of the signals to the internal drive These digitized data can be transferred to a personal computer for further processing using ZETLab.
  • Signal level tracking. If the threshold is exceeded at the analog input, a signal is sent to the output.
  • Generation of a signal at the output. If the external recorder launch is installed, the signal will begin to be generated at power-up and continue until the recording of the signal at the input is finished. If not, it will continue as long as the power is on.
  • GPS synchronization. Optional GPS synchronization is only available for the ZET 220 ADC/DAC and is sold separately.

After the recording is finished, the ZET 210 (ZET 220 or ZET 230) module is connected to a PC and with the help of the standalone recorder the data are written from the flash drive to the PC’s drive. Then the signals are analyzed using the signal playback programs and other ZETLab programs.В

Attention! The ZET 210 ADC/DAC module can only be equipped with a removable flash drive.
